Lauriane has been awarded the New Journal of Physics Early Career Award for 2018!
The prize is awarded by the New Journal of Physics Editorial Board, the Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft (DPG) and the Institute of Physics (IOP). Lauriane was selected as the winner among 18 candidates based on her “seminal experimental contributions to understanding many-body dipolar phenomena in highly magnetic quantum gases, including observing collective roton excitation.” Lauriane will receive her prize tonight, 20th of November, in London on the occasion of the IOP award dinner.
