LL’s Short Profile

Louis was born in March 1998 in Rouen, France. He started his studies in 2016 in preparatory classes.
In 2018 he integrated the engineering school of “Mines de Saint-Etienne”. For his last year of studies,
he decided to deeper his knowledge in quantum physics and came for a Master in Innsbruck. He got in touch with ultracold dipolar atoms during an internship in the Erbium lab of Francesca Ferlaino, where he continued with his master’s thesis on Bloch oscillations with Erbium. After graduating in September 2022, he took a few months off and started his PhD in the Erbium lab in January 2023.
